Xero Tax Types

The Xero Tax Types are all taken from YOUR Xero account and may well look different to the ones shown here.

Revenue Taxable Item This is the tax rate applied to taxable items. For example, this is 20% in the UK

Revenue Non-Taxable Item This is the tax rate applied to non-taxable items. For example, this is usually No VAT in the UK

Expense Taxable Item This is the tax rate applied to taxable items. For example, this is 20% in the UK

Expense Non-Taxable Item This is the tax rate applied to taxable items. For example, this is 20% in the UK
